Blossoming Birth is happy to provide home birth midwifery services in Southern Oregon. We are located in the Williams valley and prefer to serve local families. We offer home birth, water birth, prenatal, postpartum, and well woman care. We are happy to serve LGBTQI+ folks as well as people of all races, sizes, ages, and religions. Blossoming Birth is led by home birth midwife Micaela Gauss, CPM, LDM. Welcome!

Birth is a normal physiologic process. Your comforting home environment encourages the release of natural birthing hormones for a smoother, less painful birthing experience. For babies, home birth offers a sweet and gentle entry into this world. Blossoming Birth offers home birth midwifery care for low risk families in Southern Oregon.

Meet the Midwife
Micaela Gauss, CPM, LDM; Home Birth Midwife. My connection to birth is rooted in family, starting with the home births of my younger siblings. I studied at Birthingway College of Midwifery and have been attending births since 2008. I have a deep trust in birth and see it as normal. I am blessed to have had two healthy home births of my own. I love my work and am grateful to serve!
